Established in 1901, Attwaters (then Attwater and Liell) started out from offices in Bishopsgate and Stratford. Fast-forward over a century and we have undergone two successful mergers, and we now have five offices in London, Hertford, Ware, Harlow and Loughton and provide services to clients spanning Hertfordshire, Essex and the capital. Not bad for 120 years’ hard work!

Since our humble beginnings, we have achieved recognition from a wide range of legal bodies, including The Law Society, Resolution, Chambers & Partners, the Legal 500, the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Action Against Medical Negligence Panel and many more. We also hold the Law Society’s Lexcel accreditation for high standards of client care.
