My Professional Background

I joined Attwaters in July 2007 and am now a Senior Associate of the firm. I have vast experience in dealing with personal injury claims and whilst I predominantly work for Claimants, I have undertaken some private client work defending claims too. Most recently I have taken an interest in Civil Actions against the Police and successfully recovered compensation for clients who have suffered false imprisonment, wrongful arrest, malicious prosecution and assaults at the hands of the Police. I also have some experience of dealing with abuse claims.

I attended two Catholic Schools in Essex; St. Francis in Maldon and St. John Payne in Chelmsford. I have a higher diploma in Law from Anglia Ruskin University and an LLB Honours in Legal Practice, which I studied via distance learning with CILEx.

I have worked within the personal injury field since I was 18, having started working for a local firm immediately after leaving school. I worked in the City for a short period and whilst I miss the buzz and the social life that comes with a City firm, I am far more comfortable working for an organisation whose interests are primarily the client.

About me

I was born in Harlow and have lived in Essex all of my life.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and love to travel and eat out. In fact, I have a terrible sweet tooth and always have a stash in the office to get me through the day.

I love my work and helping people get the best possible compensation. I take pride in providing my clients with the best possible service, as well as the practical support that is needed whilst going through the litigation process.

As well as an interest personal injury I do have a rather unhealthy obsession with crime dramas, documentaries and podcasts.
